Give your alarm a name. This will appear in the Detail view of every event that triggers the alarm.
Select the alarm type profile 👤 using the drop-down, and decide between the two options:
Include profiles - profiles selected will trigger the alarm.
Exclude profiles - profiles selected will not trigger the alarm.
Select the profile(s) that should trigger this alarm.
Select the camera(s) and Doorkeeper(s) you would like to use for this alarm. You can connect one or more to look for alarm-worthy events.
Define a schedule for the alarm. You can opt to be alerted on specific days/times, or all day.
All-day.
Scheduled - you will be notified if seen during the hours chosen.
Outside schedule - you will be notified if seen outside the hours chosen.
Define which team member(s) to notify when the criteria are met. Remember that it's up to each user to define their notification preferences.
[Optional] Adjust your notification frequency. You can define a time interval between each notification, in addition to the standard two minutes.
⚠️ By default, Nirovision has a two-minute debounce logic per camera/Doorkeeper: Nirovision continues to recognise an individual if they remain in frame, but notifications are sent in intervals of two minutes to avoid spam. The Notification Frequency setting replaces it: if you input 5 minutes, the time between the first and second notification is 5 minutes.
[Optional] Decide whether to post alerts on one or more Slack channels, in addition to traditional notifications (email and push).
Click create to save your changes and enable your alarm. Your alarm will be triggered as soon as your criteria are met.
