Create Nirovision Users

Create Nirovision Users

You can invite your team members to access your site's Nirovision account to review insights and reports, receive alerts, configure application settings and manage resources.

There are two levels of access: Company users and Location users.
  1. Company users can access every location in the account.
  2. Location users are restricted to the specific location(s) they are invited to.
Each team member must be assigned a role when they’re invited. Roles protect your sensitive information and restrict the actions team members can perform at both the Company and Location levels. There are two roles available: Admins and Viewers
  1. Admins have full access and editing rights across all resources, via the Nirovision applications.
  2. Viewers have restricted access and no editing rights, but can receive notifications. This role has been designed as a minimal operational role.
The table below compares access across Admins and Viewers.

Team members can be invited using the web and mobile applications. This triggers an email with instructions to set up a password:
  1. In some cases, these emails may land in the Junk or Spam folders, it's always worth checking there.
  2. Users are created when the invite is issued. If they are added to an alarm, for example, they will receive email notifications straight away, even if they have not chosen a password yet.
  3. Invites expire after 30 days. Once that time has elapsed, you'll need to delete the invite and re-send it.
  4. Passwords need to only be set once. If someone is invited to additional companies and/or locations, they can log in to them using the same username and password
Users can define their individual notification preferences for alerts - and even snooze them temporarily. Learn more about this.
