Customise your check-in process with these additional Display, Recognition and more settings.
Open the Doorkeeper app.
Tap on the ⚙️ icon on the bottom right of the screen to open up the settings on Doorkeeper.
You can customise the general configuration of the specific Doorkeeper device in the general settings.
Access Mode allows you to decide between the type of access the Doorkeeper will handle:
Check in - records only check-in activities.
Check out - records only check-out activities.
Check-in + Check-out - records both check-ins and check-outs.
Auto Check In + Auto Check Out allows a buffer to be set on how long someone has to stand in front of the Doorkeeper to be checked in or out.
Setting to immediately will automatically have the screen change following the flow that has been configured.
Setting to after a certain amount of time will display a progress bar of the selected time frame when a person presents themselves in front of Doorkeeper.
📌Use: allows for the selection of which words to use to describe a check in/out.
📌Standby screen: allows for the customisation of the standby screen. By tapping into it, you will find:
Preview of each standby mode.
A choice to select a prompt to display on the standby screen.
Once configured, tap done in the top right corner.
📌Time: allows for the choice between 24-hour and 12-hour time display on all screens that displays the time.
📌Display names: You can choose to not show the name of the person that is presented in front of Doorkeeper.
📌Play Sounds: If you don't want Doorkeeper to play a sound when a person checks in or out, you can disable this by tapping on the toggle.
📌Auto Close: within the Auto Close setting you can choose between the presets or customise it yourself:
Action: when the user must take an action such as "Check out" or "Start break" a countdown can be configured.
Biometric: auto-close timer can be customised when the screen asks the user to take their temperature of BAC, a countdown for this part of the check-in flow can be configured to accommodate the user.
On screen: auto-close timer can be customised when the user is filling out information on the screen.
Status: auto-close timer can be customised on the display of the status when the user has "Checked in", "Stop" etc.
Default: auto-close time can be customised for all other screens that don't involve much interaction from the user.
📌User Switching allows Doorkeeper to quickly switch to a new user after the previous user has checked in.
📌Minimum check-in duration allows you to configure how long a user must wait to check out after checking in.
📌Minimum check-out duration allows you to configure how long a user must wait after checking out before they can check-in again.
