Audit documents

Nirovision helps you manage the entire lifecycle of surveys and files associated with an identity in the system:

  1. You can create multiple survey and file document templates.

  2. Once created, you can assign them as requirements for one or more groups of people via Access Rules.

  3. Documents will then be requested as part of a pre-enrolment process, or the first time someone shows up at a Doorkeeper kiosk.

You will find submitted documents and files for review:

  1. In the corresponding check-in record, found in the Check-ins view of Activity.

Use the Documents list to audit documents

The Document list gives you an overview of every survey and file stored in your Nirovision account and their statuses. 
To access it, log in to the Nirovision Web App 🖥️ and click on the Location selector on the top-right corner of your window. 

If there are one or more documents that need to be reviewed, you'll see a yellow message. The Location selector will also display a 🟡 - it's worth keeping an eye on it!


Click on Documents to open the documents list.

By default, you will see a list of all the documents that have been uploaded, date and status:
  • Approved means the document is valid.

    • Approvals can happen automatically or manually by an Admin, defined in the document template. If someone approved the document manually, their name will appear in the Reviewed by column.

    • If this is the only condition of entry, the person behind the document will be granted access.

  • Expired means the document is no longer valid, as it reached its expiration date.

    • Expiration dates can happen on a specific date or after a period of time, defined in the document template.

    • The person behind this document will be asked to upload a new version of it the next time they check in.

  • Rejected, means the document was reviewed by a human, and it was deemed invalid.

    • The person behind this document will be asked to upload a new version of it the next time they check in.

  • Needs Review means the document requires a human to audit and validate it, as defined in the document template.

    • The person behind this document will be Stopped until this document has been approved.

You can filter by status, submitting identity and template when reviewing and auditing documents.

Click on any entry to open a detailed view of the document in question:

  • Approve/Reject/Manually expire it.

  • Preview the document

  • Check its history trail of submissions, reviews, approvals and expirations.


Audit individual documents

You can also audit an individual's documents using the Documents and Surveys sections of someone's profile, on the bottom left corner of the Nirovision Web App 🖥️.

  • Every document showcases the template's name, its submission status and expiration.

  • Click on the 3 dots to review, check the document's history or reject/approve it. If you're an Admin, you can also upload a document on behalf of the user.
