There are benefits and disadvantages to each method. For example, CSV import is a simple method when available, but requires subsequent manual importing when new people need to be added to the system. Doorkeeper self-enrolment is easy to use when enrolling visitors but can be slower to activate when enrolling a large list of employees at once.
Where an existing database of people is being kept in an external system, such as a payroll platform, employee management solution or time in attendance software, an effective strategy can be to create synchronisation middleware to import new and existing people into the Nirovision platform by using the REST API.
